Swedish arms exports of armaments decreased by almost 25 percent last year and amounted to more than SEK 15 billion, according to the Inspection for Strategic Products (ISP)

"Individual transactions and deliveries usually have a major impact on export statistics. This year, the number of deliveries of larger systems was slightly lower than in 2021, which gives a lower total value," says ISP's Director General Carl Johan Wieslander in a press release.

He predicts that the interest in Swedish-made armaments will be high in 2023 in view of the development of security policy.
