A man who escaped from a forensic psychiatric ward in Falköping has been arrested.

He was found in central Stockholm at lunchtime on Saturday. The arrest went calmly. The 28-year-old man will be returned to the forensic ward, writes the police on his website.

The 28-year-old is convicted of having built three fires in a hotel in Gothenburg and of serious threats to government officials, including a police chief in Gothenburg.

He escaped on Friday afternoon. Skaraborg Hospital has announced to TT that an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
