A man in his 20s gets his penalty tightened by the Court of Appeal to five and a half years in prison for aggravated drug crime, reports Gefle Dagblad

Last spring the police hit a suspected drug warehouse in Tumba south of Stockholm. In the rented storehouse, seven kilos of amphetamine were found.

Three people had access to the storage room, including the man in his 20s. However, the District Court did not consider that he had a leading role and therefore sentenced him only for the drugs he had had in his car and residence. The sentence was jailed for one year and three months for drug offenses of normal grade.

On the other hand, the Court of Appeal considers that the man can be linked to the storehouse and condemns him for aggravated drug crime to five and a half years in prison.
