The telecommunications company Telia has major operational disruptions. On corporate social media, customers are alerted that telephony, broadband and television services are not working.
Several authorities and regions are also affected by the problem.
"Right now we have disruptions in our internal systems that affect our website and our ability to help our customers with orders and support cases. It may also cause disruption on the Telia Play service. Our technicians are working to resolve this as quickly as possible," Telia writes in a post on Facebook.
The problems in turn affect several businesses that use Telia as a supplier. The police state on their website that it is difficult to arrive at 114 14 and that troubleshooting is ongoing with the supplier. The Swedish Public Employment Service, Public Health Agency, the Swedish Transport Agency and the Swedish Student Support Board, CSN, also announce that it is difficult to reach them by telephone.
In the Skåne region it is not possible to contact health centers or the central switchboard, and patients who have been in long telephone queues have lost their seats when the telephone network stopped, reports Sydsvenskan
In the Uppsala region, telephony works generally – but not the queue system used by health centers, reports Dagens Nyheter In the Gävleborg region, the possibility of ordering travel services and sick trips is affected, and it is not possible to reach 1177.
"If you need non-acute care, we refer to calling your health center directly instead of 1177. In life-threatening condition 112", the Press Service at Region Gävleborg writes to DN.
In Östergötland too, service orders do not work.
