The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) is ordering almost 300 trucks from Scania and Volvo.

The vehicles will be delivered in 2023 and 2024 and there are also options for a further 260 vehicles from the same manufacturers, FMV writes on its website. The contracts are valued at around SEK 460 million.

The contracts are for three different types of trucks from Volvo and one type from Scania. The trucks will be manufactured without major customisation and will cover the need for maintenance vehicles in the logistics chain for all of the Swedish Armed Forces' units.
